SEIDROB/SPR Award for best Iberian PhD Thesis in Robotics

The Sociedad Española para la Investigación y desarrollo en Robótica (SEIDROB) y la  Sociedade Portuguesa de Robótica (SPR) convene a prize for the best Iberian PhD Thesis in the field of Robotics for students who have defended their PhD in the period between January 1st and December 31st of 2022.

The prize is endowed with 500 euros for the winner; winner and finalist will also receive an accrediting diploma.

The innovation contributed by the work as well as the experimental validation of the results and the number and quality of the (accepted) publications that have emerged from the PhD that have as authors the student author of the work and the advisor will be evaluated.

Students can submit their application by completing the form accessible here also attaching the PhD in PDF format. The PhD must be written in English.

Requisites

– For Spanish participants: the student or his/her advisor must be a SEIDROB member for the year 2023

– For Portuguese participants: the student or the advisor must be a SPR member for the year 2023

Deadline
The deadline for submission is September 15th, 2023.

Award
The prize (500 €) will be awarded during the ROBOT2023 conference to be held in Coimbra,
in November, 22-24, 2023
