ROBOT2023 main goal is to continue the precedent efforts in showing the robotic research and development of new applications in the Iberian Peninsula. Although focused on the works developed at Iberia the conference is open for submissions from any country in the world.

The conference proceedings will be published by Springer Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems series, indexed in Web of Science, dblp and SCOPUS.

Authors of selected papers will be invited to submit an extended and improved contribution to the Journal of Intelligent and Robotic Systems (JINT) (https://www.springer.com/journal/10846). The best industry-related papers will be invited to submit an extended version to the Emerald Industrial Robot journal (https://www.emerald.com/insight/publication/issn/0143-991x).
The conference will also award a prize for the Best Paper and the Best Student Paper, the Best Iberian PhD in Robotics and Best Spanish Master Thesis (see details here). The winners of the best paper and the best student paper will be awarded by Springer with a year of free access to JINT and a book for the value of 150 euros from springer.com.

ROBOT2023 is Organized by: SEIDROB – Sociedad Española para la Investigación y Desarrollo en Robótica and SPR – Sociedade Portuguesa de Robótica and will feature a set of special sessions in distinct fields related to robotics.
